Loose, Flowy V-neck Kaftan with ¾ sleeves.  Slits at the waist for the separate belt to be tied through.

Why we love it: We love this dress because it is loose, cool and flowy, but has your skin almost completely protected from the sun and feeling safe underneath washes of light fabric.   The completely separate fabric belt can be threaded around your back (on the inside of the dress) and through the slits in the front to tie at your waist and give a hint at your body shape, while not losing the flowy feeling. It can also be completely removed or worn tied as a normal belt around your smallest part.  

  • Classic Kaftan shape with a V-Neckline and ¾ Sleeves. 

  • Side slits with scooped hem to ankle. 

  • Separate tie belt, worn multi-way as described above.

  • Made out of 100% Rayon Crepe 

  • Rayon is a plant based fibre that lets your skin breathe but also creases. 

  • Ironing is necessary for a crisp look, but garments can be worn crinkled. 

  • Hang a creased garment for 24 hours to let the creases fall out if ironing is not possible.  

  • Models:  Gameema (1,73) wears a small, Fufu (1.67m) wears size Large and Soraya (1,74m) is wearing a small

  • Measurements: Shoulder to hem 140cm scooping up about 38cm on the sides - based on a Medium

  • Fit advice: S:6-10 M:10-14 L:14-16 XL 18:-22

  • NB washcare: The rayon has been preshrunk, but because rayon is plant based it can sometimes shrink again on the first wash 2-4% shrinkage on length. Please make sure to wash your rayon garments on Cold - not on 20 or 30 degrees.

Fabric and Care

Fabric composition: 100% Rayon Crepe
Our 100% Rayon is produced from a wood pulp cellulose treated to create a delicate weave that ensures soft handling and a beautiful drape. Rayon has developed over the years to now be a very versatile, breathable and comfortable fabric that falls and feels silky smooth.
Why we chose it - Rayon has the benefits of being plant based with the technical advantages of a synthetic process. This is how we are left with a fabric that can allow your skin to breathe, but have the complete regularity of a continuous fibre.
How to care for it - Machine washable on a gentle cycle in Cold water (completely cold! not even 20 or 30 degrees) Preferably in a wash bag. All our Rayon has been pre-shrunk, but because it is a long strand fibre further shrinking or stretching is always a possibility. Do not Tumble dry. Iron garment inside out.
