Born and raised in Port Elizabeth, Carol spent most of her life in the Eastern Cape but later moved to Cape Town where she now lives and works. As a trained and practicing massage therapist, Carol inspired Hannah to use her hands to create - teaching her to sew and growing her passion for textures and fabrics. Born and raised in Somerset West, Gillian now lives in Green Point whilst working in Hope Street Studio's under her label Lorne.  Gillian believes in making time to not only focus on the work side of her label but also the artistic and explorative side of her craft.    What moments, things or practices make you feel most in touch with your wellbeing and personally full?  I don't really concentrate too much on it; I think my full comes mostly from a medley of the little things, interactions and experiences....

Portrait of Amor Coetzee Ceramicist, illustrator and collaborator with Hannah Lavery   Amor Coetzee is the creative mind behind the artistic label Dayfeels- a collection of illustrations, art prints and ceramics. Born in a small seaside town in the Eastern Cape, Amor was taught from a young age about how to be introspective and focus on the simple things in life- a quality that has carried through and inspired much of her work today. Now based in Cape Town, Amor’s main focus is her Dayfeels brand along with taking time out to pursue her love for photography, design, hiking and yoga.   Amor has worked alongside Hannah Lavery at Hope Studio for two years. Portraits: Ana Kuni

Artist, mother, free spirit and Hannah Lavery enthusiast  (Images: Taryn Diab) Ana Kuni is a free spirited and talented Ukrainian artist who now lives and works in Cape Town. Born in post-Soviet Ukraine, Ana later moved to Tokyo where she spent her teenage years modelling and shooting commercials. Through modeling, Ana was able to travel the world and experience a vast variety of cultures which still inspire and filter into her work today. When not creating paintings or large murals Ana likes to get involved in various community programs with her art or spend time with her beautiful daughter and their Jack Russell puppy. Born and raised in Athlone, Pat later moved to Bonteheuwel where she now lives with her husband Robert while working for the Hannah Lavery brand.
