All our shoes are made from genuine leather and have a genuine leather lining - a natural lining instead of a synthetic one is much kinder on the foot. The leather lining that we use is pigskin so that the price of our shoe is not unreasonably inflated by a lining that is not visible. An alternative leather inner is available upon request for our customers who cannot wear items with pig derived materials.
With such a demand for these customized orders, we selected two of our most popular designs to be constructed with a Halaal lining (goatskin) and available for immediate purchase at an additional cost of R100 - the Foldover Mule (Taupe) and the Angle shoe.

We offer alternative lining upon request for all of the shoes available currently. We kindly ask that customers are patient during the process as it may take 4 – 6 weeks for the shoes to be produced. The alternative lining has an additional R100.00 charge
Why do we not always offer alternative lining?
The alternative lining which we use is more expensive than the current lining and if we had to include this lining accurately into our costing the retail price would be dramatically inflated. To avoid this we only add on the actual cost of the more expensive lining to the final retail price and do not include it in our costing calculations.
